¹⁵ but when he was informed about what was occurring, he marched against Ptolemy, who opposed him with a strong force and put him to flight. ¹⁶ Alexander fled to Arabia to seek protection, and King Ptolemy’s triumph was complete ¹⁷ when Zabdiel the Arab cut off Alexander’s head and sent it to Ptolemy.
